Our Family:

Myself (Kim) and my husband (James). I am a Masters-level Recreation Therapist, leading a department, and my husband is a Masters-level mental health therapist. We both work for an agency that provides therapeutic support for kids and adults with disabilities and typically co-occurring mental health diagnoses.

Our Desire to Adopt:

We have a lot of love to give and our life’s work is working with individuals with disabilities.

Our Faith:

We are both non-denominational Christians. I was saved when I was 17 and James was saved as a child, and we are dedicated to our faith in Christ and our role in our local church.

Dear Birth Mom/Parents:

We are so thankful for you. Please know that you have truly blessed our lives. We have been waiting for a special child in our life for years, and we can’t even fully describe the gratitude we have towards you. We hope to someday, if you are comfortable, welcome you as a part of our family through an open adoption as well. We hope that God truly blesses you and that you find the love and life that you desire and deserve. We have never met you, but we love you so much.
